The Peter Bragan for Better Baseball Foundation is a Florida Charitable Trust
The Peter Bragan for Better Baseball Foundation was established to serve as a permanent endowment to fund in perpetuity NE Florida baseball endeavors and a future cultural destination, The Jacksonville Baseball Museum, A History of Professional Baseball in Jacksonville. Our goals are:
- to assist youth programs and inspire young ballplayers to excellence on the field and academically
- to promote the game and preserve the history of professional baseball for all ages

Our Foundation funded many community organizations
Since it’s inception, our Foundation has provided funding for equipment and materials for Mayport Elementary School, Arlington Little League, Murray Hills Little League, Dinsmore Athletic Association, and a scholarship for the University of North Florida baseball team.
Plus we have purchased electronic scoreboards for Fort Caroline Athletic Association and Rondette Park, and we continue to look for more opportunities to promote the game, which we could not do without the support of our wonderful sponsors!
Bragan is Synonymous with Baseball – America’s Favorite Pastime
The name “Bragan” and “baseball” are synonymous. The Bragan family has been an integral part of American baseball history for decades in Jacksonville. As co-founding trustees, Peter and Nancy Bragan have developed their family namesake Foundation to help move the sport of baseball forward. The Foundation hopes its awardees, patrons and friends will support the Foundation’s efforts, especially our annual fundraising event each fall. For information go to Special Events.
